A stormy November dawn at St Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitley Bay

When I was staying with my parents I thought I’d head out early for the coast. It was a very windy morning. I took a number of photos with a long lens, whilst trying not to get blown away. Timing the photo to get the flash of light from Tynemouth Lighthouse was another challenge, but I think these photos convey a feeling for what it was like.

By the way, some of these show the actual colour of this pre-dawn light, some are ‘balanced’. Which do you think is better?
